Jahnavi Akula is pursuing a degree in Epidemiology and Preventive Veterinary Medicine. Her research focuses on epidemiological data analysis in wildlife, specifically studying the health dynamics of bighorn sheep populations. She aims to contribute to the understanding of disease transmission in wildlife and its implications for conservation and public health. She has been associated with the Vector Genetics Laboratory at UC Davis, further broadening her expertise in vector-borne diseases.
