Christabel Domfe is a Ph.D. candidate in the Au Lab in the Department of Nutrition. Her career goal is to make nutrition knowledge simple and accessible to all, thereby promoting better health for everyone.

Parastoo Farajpoor

Parastoo Farajpoor is a Ph.D. candidate in biological systems engineering at UC Davis, conducting research in the Digital Agriculture Lab. Her work applies machine learning and remote sensing to estimate nutrient status in California grapevines, supporting more sustainable vineyard management.

Lizbeth Flores

Lizbeth Flores is a Ph.D. candidate in the Graduate Group in Nutritional Biology at UC Davis. She is investigating how manipulating the gut microbiome through a novel drug intervention and the ketogenic diet may improve treatment effectiveness in pancreatic cancer.

Carisse Geronimo

Carisse Geronimo is a Ph.D. candidate at UC Davis in the Energy Systems program. She is focused onwaste-to-energy pathways, specifically, small-scale anaerobic digestion of food waste that can no longer be donated or distributed for consumption.

Angelica Gonzalez-Bastidas

Nafiz Imtiaz Khan

Nafiz Imtiaz Khan is a Ph.D. candidate in computer science at UC Davis, working in the DECAL Lab with Prof. Vladimir Filkov. His research focuses on retrieval-augmented generation and multimodal reasoning. He leads the development of OSSPREY, a forecasting platform for open-source software, and has created widely used tools such as ReACT-GPT and EvidenceBot

Prashant Khatiwada
