Bio

Subhaditya Mitra

Subhaditya Mitra is a graduate student researcher at UC Davis’s AHMCT Research Center, where he focuses on robotics, automation, and digital twin development for construction vehicles. His work spans mechanical design, kinematics, finite element and multi-body dynamics simulations, and machine learning applications.

Prior to his graduate career, he conducted research in civil engineering at UC Davis, where he modeled reinforced concrete and composite structures and explored novel methods for 3D printing cementitious materials. Subhaditya holds a B.E. in from Jadavpur University, in Kolkata, India; an M.S. in civil and environmental engineering from UC Davis; and he is pursuing his M.S.\ Ph.D. in mechanical and aerospace engineering at UC Davis. He enjoys merging structural engineering with advanced manufacturing, robotics, and automation to push the boundaries of innovation in engineering.
