Shruti Shah

Shruti Shah is an M.S. student in Biomedical Engineering who is interested in using computation and technology to improve early detection, treatment, and understanding of biological systems. She plans to research ways to optimize a Medtronic device for Parkinson's disease so that care can be more individualized, comfortable, and less dependent on clinicians.

Shruti earned a B.S. in Brain and Behavioral Science from Purdue University, along with certificates in Applications of Data Science and Python. Her experience includes analyzing neural data in Professor Roy Ben-Shalom's lab and annotating radiology images for AI model training at Stanford's artificial intelligence and medical imaging center.
