Meena Pandey

Meena Pandey is a Ph.D. student in Horticulture and Agronomy who works with California orchard growers to address sustainability challenges in agricultural systems. Her research interests include life cycle assessment, geospatial analysis, circular economy approaches, decarbonization strategies, biogeochemical modeling, and sustainable food systems.

Before joining UC Davis, Meena was a research apprentice at the International Food Policy Research Institute and a vocational skills development trainer with the China Foundation for Rural Development. She holds a B.S. in Agriculture from Tribhuvan University and an M.S. in International Agricultural Development from UC Davis. Outside of research, she enjoys experimenting with new recipes and exploring different cuisines.
