Bio

Long’s story started beneath the glow of stage lights in high school, where storytelling became his way of connecting deeply with others. Founding a drama club taught him that education extends far beyond textbooks—it involves nurturing imagination, critical thinking, art, music, and an understanding of philosophy. In today's age of artificial intelligence, he strongly believes in emphasizing uniqueness in character, personality, and emotional depth as our greatest strengths.

At UC Davis, studying Data Science and Economics revealed to him that behind every number lies a powerful human narrative. Mentoring international students through CSSA and guiding visitors at Ullens Art Museum further convinced him that genuine education is rooted in empathy, emotional understanding, and oral cultural exchange. Realizing the emotional power embedded in language, I joined the university choir to explore music as a universal language. EQUIP aligns perfectly with my vision: combining analytical insight with emotional intelligence to  build connections, foster understanding, and create meaningful change.
