Lizbeth Flores

Lizbeth Flores is a Ph.D. candidate in the Graduate Group in Nutritional Biology at UC Davis. Her dissertation investigates how manipulating the gut microbiome through a novel drug intervention and the ketogenic diet may improve anti-PD-1 therapy effectiveness in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.

She holds a B.A. in sociology from UCLA and an M.S. in nutritional science from California State University, Los Angeles. Lizbeth is passionate about understanding how diet and the microbiome influence cancer therapy and hopes her work will advance treatment options for patients facing aggressive cancers.
