Bio
Jessica Korte
Jessica Korte received her B.S. in bioelectrical engineering at Hope College in Holland, Michigan. After graduating, she worked as an electrical engineer designing power and communications on K-12 campuses. She then returned to school to pursue engineering in health care applications.
Now, Jessica is a Ph.D. candidate in the biomedical engineering department and a joint member of the FAN Lab and the Joiner Motor Lab. Her research combines neuroimaging with behavioral neuroscience techniques. She focuses on how learning abilities change with age and how these behavioral differences reflect the effect of age on the brain. Outside the lab, Jessica enjoys climbing, running, and training her dog, Gizmo.
