
Jasmin Tello Esparza is an Events Specialist at the Mike and Renee Child Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She brings a unique blend of expertise in design and communications to create experiences that connect UC Davis students, faculty, and industry professionals in engaging, collaborative settings.
Jasmin holds a double major in Design and Communications from UC Davis, giving her a comprehensive skill set spanning various design principles. Through UC Davis’s Design in Europe Program, she explored narrative environment design in Iceland, Scotland, and England, collaborating with international design studios and peers to learn the importance of connecting with people and understanding their needs. This approach inspires her work as an Events Specialist, where she aims to deliver impactful experiences for diverse audiences.
Previously, as Recruitment and Retention Coordinator for ASUCD Unitrans, Jasmin led student-focused events to enhance recruitment and retention efforts, building connections with campus resources and creating an inclusive, welcoming community. Her background in student outreach and campus coordination makes her a strong advocate for accessible, inclusive environments.
In her free time, Jasmin enjoys activities that spark her creativity and help her unwind, from sewing and baking for friends and family to enjoying walks outdoors. Always open to new ideas, she frequently explores new crafts and hones her design skills.
