Bio
Cristina Zito
Cristina Zito is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in sociology at UC Davis with a designated emphasis in computational social science. Her research explores the intersection of technology, culture, and gender norms, examining how technological platforms shape social interactions, relationships, and norms.
She holds an M.A. in sociology from UC Davis and a B.A. from UC Berkeley, where she double majored in sociology and gender and women’s studies. Cristina’s work highlights technology’s potential to transform how people connect, understand one another, and navigate contemporary society.
