Connor Patton

Connor Patton is a Ph.D. candidate in Chemical Engineering at who develops materials to address smoke taint in wine. His research uses selective adsorption to target compounds associated with wildfire smoke exposure while preserving the wine's natural composition.

He hopes to launch a startup based on this technology to help winemakers protect the quality and value of smoke-exposed wines. Connor has also participated in the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship's Business Development Fellowship and is now a Leaders for the Future fellow.
