Cara Satre
Cara Satre is a graduate student assistant, playing key roles in marketing, operations, and event planning for the institute. She is passionate about helping students develop the skills and confidence to forge their own futures. As a Davis native, she has many connections here and a deep love for the community.
After receiving her B.S. in advertising from Central Michigan University, Cara developed a passion for business operations while working in the business office at Hoblit Dodge in Woodland, CA. She uses her creativity, marketing knowledge, and technical skills developed as a social media content intern at Border Boys Media to broaden and enhance the Institute’s digital visibility. She enjoys developing her information design skills through social media content creation, as well as refining workflows to improve efficiency and collaboration. While working at the Institute, Cara also received her Master’s in Business Administration from UC Davis Graduate School of Management.
She loves spending time with and taking countless photos of her cat, Meeka, when she’s not busy playing with her house mate’s dog, Summit. In her free time she enjoys playing video games with her friends, painting, and reading fantasy novels.
