Aydin Anand

Aydin Anand is an M.S. Plan I thesis student in Biomedical Engineering and a researcher in the Hao Lab. Her research explores electroactive and piezoelectric biomaterials designed to support the regeneration of bone, cartilage, and osteochondral tissue.

She earned her B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from UC Davis. Aydin is also involved in student leadership and mentorship through the Biomedical Engineering Student Association and several campus organizations, including the UC Davis Archery Team, D.E.M.O., and Thriving in Graduate School. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. and a career in biomedical research.
