Asfa Sultana Sher

Asfa Sultana Sher is an M.S. student in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering and a graduate student researcher in cancer immunology, biomaterials, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine. She is developing microfluidic technologies to capture rare antigen-specific T cells and integrate them into clinical-scale cell manufacturing workflows for cancer immunotherapy.

Beyond the lab, Asfa helps build community within biomedical engineering. As a graduate mentor for the Biomedical Engineering Student Association, she supports students' professional development through academic networking and research conferences.
