Bio
Archan Vyas
Archan Vyas is a Ph.D. candidate in chemical engineering working under Professor Atul Parikh in the Biomedical Engineering Department at UC Davis. His research investigates the effects of osmotic stresses and macromolecular crowding on membrane structures and the creation of cell-like mimics.
Archan is an active member of the Chemical Engineering & Materials Science Graduate Student Organization and teaches at the International Center. He holds a B.S.E in Chemical Engineering with a Minor in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, watching movies, playing disc golf, and spending time with his family and friends.
