Anis Askari

Anis Askari is a Ph.D. candidate in Biomedical Engineering whose work connects engineering innovation with human health. Drawing on a background in chemical engineering, biotechnology, and biomedical research, her work has spanned bioelectrochemical systems, biomaterials, tissue engineering, and advanced fabrication for biomedical applications.

At UC Davis, Anis contributes to the biomedical engineering community through teaching, mentoring, and service. She plans to pursue a research career in academia or industry, with interests in biotechnology, pharmaceutical development, and medical devices that can be translated into practical healthcare solutions.
