We’re filled with Gratitude!
This time of year is filled with opportunities—some that are exciting, some difficult to accept, some restorative, and some requiring hard work, determination, and resilience. With so many opportunities calling for attention, it can be challenging to decide where to invest your time and energy. At the Mike and Renee Child Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, we encourage you to pause, consider what holds value for you, and make choices that align with what the current version of you needs and the future version of you aspires to achieve and offer the world.
This year, we are focusing on gratitude as we bring you the 25th annual Big Bang! Business Competition and other programs that nurture innovation and entrepreneurial mindsets and skills. We are deeply grateful to all of you who contribute to this invigorating network of problem solvers, changemakers, and champions who support career growth, skill enhancement, and development of new ventures and business opportunities.
At the Little Bang! Pitch+Poster Competition on February 13, we celebrated the strong entrepreneurial spirit alive and well in our community. Thank you to all the teams who participated and to the educational leaders, family, and friends who have been cheering them on. We are grateful to our sponsors Barry and Lynda Keller and the Sacramento Region Community Foundation as well as to our competition judges who, time and again, serve others by sharing their expertise and encouragement.
Is there someone you’d like to thank for their willingness to tackle complex challenges and offer new solutions? There’s no better day than today to communicate your appreciation and encourage them to keep forging that path ahead!
