After graduating with a master’s degree in engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Dhairya Pujara wanted to use his education to create meaningful solutions in the world. So he gave up his plans for a corporate job and took off to Mozambique, Africa.

For the next five months, Dhairya worked on the ground in a rural hospital. Despite six years of engineering training, he found himself ill prepared to translate his classroom knowledge into skills for real-world problem solving. He launched Ycenter to co-create solutions and better align education with the challenges facing our world.

Join fellow UC Davis students from all disciplines for this free presentation, You’ll leave inspired to apply your academic learning to solve global issues through innovation and entrepreneurship.
